More on gifts of cash

Did you know that you can mail a check at the end of the year? Your deduction is based on the postmark date. We encourage you to send a check three or four days before December 31 to be sure the Post Office places a December postmark. Even if the December postmarked envelope is not received by the Archdiocese of Omaha until after the new year, the IRS will allow you to take a deduction for this year. Thank you for your year-end gift!

The Living Legacy Circle
Many people are called to include the Catholic Church in their estate plans as a lasting testament to their faith. The Archdiocese of Omaha created the Living Legacy Circle as a special way to recognize those who have made a provision in their estate plans for the Archdiocese of Omaha or a parish or school within the archdiocese.
